I was raised under the Big Sky of Montana and after finishing my Masters of Architecture I chose to plop myself in the middle of San Francisco. With a fast stride I embrace new situations, intense learning curves, and seasons of growth. My previous experiences vary in size from detailing a tiny cabin for Getaway to working on 580,000 sq ft tech campuses. I’ve enjoyed working on a variety of project types and styles. I eagerly look forward to new projects, working with existing clients, and continuing to design.

Project Designer

After graduating from University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, I knew I wanted to pursue design as a means to improve everyday life. With empathy, tenacity, and care, I aspire to find the best solution to each client's unique design needs. I have loved design since I was eight years old when I would pick up my father's "Lowe's Ultimate Book of Home Plans" as a bedtime story and bookmarked my favorite plans I imagined myself and my family living in. I hope to be a designer capable of turning someone's imagination into a reality.

Project Designer

I grew up in Norman, Oklahoma and came to the Bay Area to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and minor in structural engineering at University of California, Berkeley. From a young age I’ve had grit and wanted to be an architect with design as part of my everyday life. Settling in the Bay has further empowered me as a disciplined artist and grew my interest in community narratives and meaningful practice. I work hard to put forth my ambitious doodles and photographic sense of design at Creates Cool.

Designer

Born and raised in LA, I became interested in Architecture primarily through user experience and design. Studying architecture at UC Berkeley furthered my interest in the field; I knew I wanted to not only shape the built environment, but also begin to shape how we interact with the environment. As a future architect I aim for the work I produce to enhance these interactions while also evoking the humanistic aspect of architecture. I believe that a meaningful design can have an impact on all those who interact with that space, & I work diligently to put these ideas into practice.

Project Designer

Currently based in Toronto, I earned my Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Waterloo. I have worked at a variety of architecture, interior, and carpentry firms in New York City, Boston, Toronto, and San Francisco. With a diverse background I pay close attention to the relationships between the varying scales of design. This Fall, I will be pursuing my Masters of Architecture at Rice University.

Designer

I grew up in Cincinnati, but when I came out to the Bay Area for an internship, it quickly felt like home to me. As a designer, I care about the client’s story and dreams for their space. My aim is to create spaces that feel inviting and to honor the connection between the built environment and its surrounding context. I earned a bachelor’s degree in interior design from the University of Cincinnati, and have worked in brand experience, workplace, and residential design. I left the Bay in 2020, but our work in the area keeps me feeling connected to places that I love!

Project Designer

I am currently settled in my hometown of Calgary, AB, after graduating from University of Waterloo with a degree in architecture. The various work experiences I’ve had across New York, Boston, Amsterdam and Vancouver exposed me to a range of projects of differing scales and intentions, which allowed me to exercise my flexibility as a designer. I enjoy navigating the idiosyncrasies of design problems, and I always try to consider how designed constructions can improve and assist people's day to day lives.

Project Designer

I recently received my Master of Architecture from Montana State University in the Fall of 2021. I am still based in Bozeman, Montana, as the mountains and streams provide a place for me and my pup to get outside. I have worked in Denver and Bozeman and my experience ranges from hands-on modeling, to performing energy audits, to designing lighting layouts. I enthusiastically approach projects as they provide a platform to share ideas with clients and push the potential of their space.

Designer

After obtaining my M.Arch degree from Montana State University, I decided to put my roots down in Montana while continuing work with regional non-profits. I have over 7 years of experience in the architecture, design, and construction fields of the mountain west. My sentiment for the western landscape and diverse professional experiences have shaped my approach to design. I enjoy the opportunities I have to design at multiple scales while creating unique and functional spaces.

Lead Designer

I was born and raised in the Midwest. Being brought up by a family of engineers gave me a unique perspective on the world of design. My interests are driven by a desire to try any and all things design related. My professional experiences span the east and west coast, covering a wide breadth that reaches beyond my degree. These experiences include architectural design, product design, photography, interior decorating, teaching fellowships, passive house and net zero design. As Lead Designer at CC, I am excited to show our clients their creative potential and combine it with our team's expertise to create some amazing work.

Communications Coordinator

I am a recent graduate of California State University, Fullerton, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in communications with a concentration in public relations. As the communications coordinator, I am eager to expand the company's social media pages to reflect upon the work and create a strong community. I enjoy staying updated on the latest trends and how to authentically incorporate them within our posts to fit our mission.

Architectural Designer

I was born in Singapore, and raised in the Bay Area. Studying architecture at UC Berkeley furthered my excitement in learning about how architecture can be inclusive and uplift the quality of life for its users. I believe that design is a form of problem solving which can transform spaces made for our communities and improve the human experience, through innovative and creative solutions.

Project Coordinator

I thoroughly enjoy helping to kick off projects, meeting new clients, and focusing on the success of both the firm and the clients, no matter how small or large. In the past, I have provided support to fifty cities and counties that collaborate to promote community-based climate solutions. This involved engaging residents in carbon reduction, water-use reduction, and resiliency actions. I have extensive experience in non-profit development and community organizing.

CFO (Chief Furry Officer)

As CFO of Creates Cool, Leopold (Leo) is eager to advance the company's mission as well as making all homes and communities woof friendly. Leo hails from the Bay Area, and while he currently works remotely from the Rockies, his heart is in San Francisco. Leo brings puppy energy and an eye for delicious design to the team. His works have been featured in Puppy Design Monthly, Barkitechure Magazine, and the The Architectural Woofview. Leo has led the industry on innovative and sustainable dog door design and can't wait to work with you on all of your furry needs.
