Cribbage
Cribbage is a card and board game that involves strategy, skill, and a bit of luck. It is played by two or three players, with each player trying to be the first to reach a predetermined number of points, usually 121.
We first learned how to play cribbage while on a road trip. It was a great way to pass the time during long drives and provided a fun and engaging activity for us to do together. We quickly became hooked on the game and found ourselves looking for opportunities to play whenever we had a spare moment.
Inspired by a desire to play cribbage on the road we came up with the idea to revisit the age old folded cribbage board and add a layer of efficiency, and detail design. For the ease of travel when our board is folded up it doesn’t even double the size of the deck of cards it surrounds. When it's time to play, our board unfolds to a normal cribbage size, ready for 2 or 3 players.
We custom designed our board layouts to be laser cut locally on birch. Each board piece is attached by hand to a custom cut leather fold that even has pockets for your pegs. Boards are hand assembled by leatherworker Taylor Dickinson to make sure each set fits and our clean design works perfectly.
